Sorry for the delayed post, but here's this week's watercolour post. Create a simple watercolour wash to the background of a card to make it pop! Simply mix a drop of ink with some water and using your Aqua Painter brush wash it over watercolour paper. Great thing about this technique is that you can control how much ink to use. Allow to fully dry before stamping any images. This card used the new Flourishing Phrases stamp set with matching Thinlit dies. The image is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed in white

Watercolour Wednesday!
Hi! My love for watercolouring continues. Seeing how ink and water blend together to create some magic is wonderful! I'm not a painter or artist by any means but Stampin' Up! makes this technique so easy to do. A few drops of ink and a Aqua Painter brush filled with water is all you need. And maybe a little practice and patience too.
For this simple thank you card, from the stamp set YOU'VE GOT THIS, I've stamped the flower in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in white. Then I just used my Aqua Painter brush filled with water and dipped in some ink and brushed. Be sure to use watercolour paper regular cardstock will not work. Easy, simple and one of kind. Catch me again next Wednesday for another watercolour creation!

Swirly Bird Thank You Card
Hello! Brand new from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog is the Swirly Bird stamp set. This set is so fun and versatile that the possibilities are endless! The set also has matching Thinlits. Featured in this card is also one of the new in-colours: Sweet Sugarplum. The background stripes are created using a custom cut stencil and just a simple sponging technique.
